Tutto ha inizio con una cipolla.
La prima richiesta da parte dei docenti di questo laboratorio è stata quella di fotografare una cipolla secondo varie angolazioni, prospettive e tagli. Tagli non solo dell’immagine, ma anche fisici
della liliacea, soggetto fotografico. In seguito,
dalle fotografie è stato sviluppato il pittogramma relativo alla cipolla, poi colorato in diverse esplorazioni cromatiche. Il tutto per arrivare
a dover fornire una ricetta che prevede l’uso
della cipolla, e la scelta è ricaduta su La panzanella. Da qui, sono stati creati una serie di pittogrammi per ogni ingrediente e ogni strumento utile alla preparazione della ricetta, prima in bianco e nero, poi a colori. Infine, i pittogrammi sono stati utilizzati per realizzare un video animato illustrativo della preparazione della panzanella, operando con il software Adobe After Effects.

It all starts with an onion.
