La commissione per questo libro riguardava
il progetto e la realizzazione della copertina,
oltre che di successivo materiale pubblicitario
di immagine coordinata; dell’impaginazione interna si è occupata un’altra collaboratrice di Dedalo srls.
Lo scritto tratta la biografia di una donna – ovvero l’autrice stessa – nata in una famiglia difficile.
Il padre biologico, negli anni sessanta, vendette una delle figlie, appena nata, a un giro di compravendita di neonati gestito dalla malavita, in Sicilia. Lo scopo primo di questo libro è quindi, per l’autrice,
il cercare di ritrovare la sorella perduta e far venire
a galla il sistema illegale di cui è venuta a conoscenza da qualche anno a questa parte.
Rosa Maria Mauceri attualmente vive in Germania, ma ha vissuto anche in Belgio e in Sicilia, pertanto ha voluto che la copertina – e l’impaginazione – fossero realizzate sia per la versione italiana
che quella tedesca.
